Afternoon - USDA ESTIMATED BOXED BEEF CUT-OUT VALUES - as of 1:30pm

Based on negotiated prices and volume of boxed beef cuts delivered within 0-21
days and on average industry cutting yields.  Values reflect U.S. dollars per
100 pounds.

Boxed beef cutout values higher on Choice and steady on Select on moderate to 
fairly good demand and light offerings. Choice rib and chuck cuts steady to 
firm while round and loin cuts firm to higher. Select rib, round, and loin cuts 
steady to firm while chuck cuts weak. Beef trimmings sharply higher on good 
demand and moderate offerings.

moderate to active.
